1 Fix
Set Global Page Template in OneNote 2010
Microsoft OneNote 2010 does not have a built-in feature to set a global page template for all new sections. The default page template can only be set for individual pages, which leads to repetitive manual configuration when creating new sections.

- 1
Create a Custom Template Page
Open OneNote and create a new page that you want to use as your template. Format this page with the desired text, images, and layout.
- 2
Save the Page as a Template
With your custom page open, go to the 'File' menu, select 'Save As', and then choose 'OneNote Template'. Name your template and save it in a location you can easily access.
- 3
Apply the Template to New Sections
Whenever you create a new section, go to the 'Insert' menu, select 'Page Templates', and then choose 'My Templates'. Select your saved template to apply it to the new section.
- 4
Repeat for Future Sections
For each new section you create, repeat step 3 to apply your custom template. Unfortunately, this must be done manually for each new section as OneNote 2010 does not support automatic global templates.
Validation
To confirm the fix worked, create a new section in OneNote and apply the template using the steps outlined. Check that the page reflects the desired layout and content of your custom template.
